Can everybody list their Date of purchase, location, type, stepping, overclock result with default and overvoltage, multiplier and fsb.

Mine.

1/10/2002 newegg, xp 1700 agoga (green). 12.5 x133 1666mhz. default voltage. I do not overvoltage or go higher on fsb on this chip.

2/1/2002 Mwave xp 1600+ agkga (green), 12 X133 stable 1600mhz, 12.5 X133 1666 mhz at 1.85 volts almost stable. get errors in prime 95

No offense but this is what the CPU Database (accessible via the frontpage) is for.

BUT it's only as valuable of a tool as the people who make entries. So go put your CPU's in there!! This applies to everyone!!

if you havent noticed that database is lacking. No date of purchase, where purchase? Not to mention, not too many recent posts. Know what I mean.

And many with no steppings or incomplete data. Furthermore there are NO xp2000 rankings at all. Had to get xp2000 info off of another site.

Excuse my ignorance, but how do you tell the stepping? I can view the stuff in WCPUID, but the stepping it gives there is just Family: Model: Stepping for both Standard and Extended, and it is nothing like the AGOGA stuff you are all talking about. How do I figure out what I've got?

It's on the chip itself. I don't have a picture to show you at this time. Someone else?

Here you go, this is for a DURON/T-BIRD but the Morgans/XP's are similar.

By the way, my XP1600 is an "AGOGA" week 51, purchased at a local show from Micro Pro (a very good company to do bussiness with).

Aha....so, I won't know what it is until I take my HSF off, which will be in about a year or so. :) Thanks.

I got an AGKGA week 51 xp1600 from newegg last week. I'm hopin it'll overclock well. Gotta see if I can't get my new 8KHA+ working first :(. I'm hoping I don't have to go through the RMA proccess.

i got an AGNGA Y from a local comp shop. i searched 4 weeks for a stepping i thought was good, one of the AG"GA Y or F's as they are supposed to o/c very well. i got this one at 1.6@defaultVCORE, and when my pc2400 ram comes tomorrow, im gonna try to get her to 1.8, or at least 1.75.

1/**/2002
agoga y xp 1700
1700mhz(148x11.5) @ 1.85 volts.
(got to 1.8 by putting my case in the window and getting temps down in the high 20's...)

RMA is a pain in the butt however it does beat buying another.
