I just built my first duallie computeron which I installed XP Pro. I am wondering if there is any special setup procedures that cause XP to efficiently use both processor? Any help would be appreciated.

Forst go into task manager and see if there are two performance graphs for CPU usage. If there are then you're all set, Windows handles the rest. But if there's only one then you need to do some other stuff which I don't have the link for right now. I'll be back in a few minutes to modify my post with the link.;)

Thanx; only one performance graph in TaskMgr. System Info states two processors however.

I am an idiot...I do have two graphs. :o

DarkArtic, in your link, it states to choose ACPI Multiprocessor PC. I only have MPS Multiprocessor PC available to me. What am I missing?

You probably don't have ACPI enabled in your BIOS, therefore, when you installed Windows, it didn't apply the ACPI driver.

I wouldn't worry about it. Generally, ACPI causes alot of IRQ problems and doesn't offer much. I don't run it on any system that I have that allows me to disable it in the BIOS.
