No it's not a joke!!
The popup error I get says:
BATMETER.DLL file is linked to missing export SETUPAPI.DLL: SetupDiGetDeviceInterfaceDetail.A

I had installed the software for my Plextor CD-RW and then turned off the startup parts in msconfig/startup tab.

Anyone know how to fix this.

Thanks!

Hehe...that's OK flounder. If we can't have fun doing this then it isn't worth it.
How long did you look to find that animated gif??
LOL
But seriously, thanks for the link. It was all I needed.
After I figured out which files it was using I just copied the same ones from a directory I had of another system. I also have about a dozen copies arround on CD-R. I have made it a practice to do a HDD copy of most of the important stuff from a system before making mainboard changes. I just today copied another system over through my network to get ready for a new K7S5A due about Wednesday.
Just couldn't resist the price!!

Thanks again!:)
