thier should be 2 tabs on the tope of the CPU Casing
pinch them inwards.
This should unlock the CPU...

Some bracket that hold the SLot 1 CPU in place also have locks on them... If you can move something on the bracket... odds are its a lock... you will have to play with it to find out how to unlock that.

well, BBVman, it's a little complicated to explain, due to the mathmatics involved. The rate of incline should be half that of the decline, with output force equaling that of input exertion, squared by pi..........

BBVman, there's a couple of designs for the retainers. My Asus board has one type, while my Aopen board has another. What board do you have and what do the retention clips look like?
