Works for me.
Did you do a clean install or an upgrade install? Everyone here had it at least working!

Run's bug free for me as well. Sorry!
Just a little little sluggish with only 256megs of ram.

I plan on upgrading to XP shortly once i get some more ram. All the peoiple that i have talked to say its bug free. it only gives them problems if they attempt to dual boot it. but even that can be accomplished with a little work

Smooth as silk for me and with only 256m.b. of ram. I did a clean install. My brother-in-law did an upgrade from Windows ME and he had to uninstall Xp cause it kept freezing on him. Also my step-father did the upgrade from ME and now due to a mistake has to download everything all over again.

I also have 256 megs of ram, and it's stable as a rock. :) I will soon be running 512 ddr. :)

I got bugs, lots o bugs! muhahaha! i dont really care that much though, its better than 98 any day.
XP is fantastic - had very few problems. Beats 9x any day.
Lots of bugs. Atleast 1 to 2 BSOD (auto reboots a day). Back to Win2k for me.

I have XP on 2 systems - one Duron@700/256 MB PC133 and one TBird@1000/512 MB PC2100.
When I upgraded the TBird box to 512 I didn't notice any difference in how smooth/fast things ran. The Duron box runs almost as smooth with only 256 MB. I think the difference is CPU related, most likely.

Nothing but trouble for me. Random crashes, undecipherable error messages and worst of all, nearly impossible to uninstall. I finally formatted the hard drive and started over with W2K.
I really woundn't know how good it is, it froze up twice during the install and what have you. I reformatted again and reinstalled ME. ME does what i need to IMO best OS i've ever used. as stable as W2K in my opinion and has the extra safety of system Restorer. Ask my friends they would agree.
XP is awesome!!! I have been running it ever since the first day it came out. No problems at all. I have 384mb SDRAM and an Athlon 900. Clean Install with the great NTFS file system. Ntfs is more secure try using it instead of Fat32.

XP works great for me.a few minor bugs, but its better for games than 2000, wich i used to have. and i cant even compare to 98.
the only BSOD's came from pushing my old tbird too hard.
I give it 2 thumbs up!

I give XP 3 thumbs down! But I've got a Toshiba laptop OEM install, and only 256mb of ram.
Would probably be better with a standard installation. It is SLOW.
As an experiment I tossed 2000 pro on it and there was quite an improvement!!!
I'm starting to think that XP might be like ME in at least one way: Those who do not have problems have ABSOLUTELY no problems, but those that do.......hate it with a passion!
As it matures I am sure it will get better, as MS oses always do, but I still find it amazing that MS took such a giant step backwards- and using the same kernel! The stuff that screws XP up is just the bloat that is added on to 2K. My opinion.
