Ok, my boss let me know, in a round-about way that he doesn't want me folding on my work computer anymore. Ok, disappointing, but he is the boss. So I've now got 2 9800 GX2s that I need to find a home for.
I brought one home and put it in my main computer, which was only running a GTX 295 Co-op card. And I can't get them to run together. The Co-op will run by itself ok with 2 clients, but when I try and put in the 9800 GX2, both halves of the 295 show up as either GPU 0 or GPU 1 depending on which slot it is in. I can only run 3 clients that way. And even then, 2 of them run VERY slow, for less PPD than the 295 by itself.
Does anybody have experience running multiple 295 Co-op cards in a Vista or Win 7 system? How do the GPUs show up in Riva Tuner?
I've gotten the 295 Co-op to show up as separate GPUs in a Win XP system with 2 295 dual-pcb cards.
