I don't think so. It's the original Intel fan. so..i don't know.

If this is overclocked or you don’t plant to then 45 is perfectly fine; pretty much where most pre-built PCs sit without any radical OC.com™ recommended cooling.

45C is pretty hot, even for that chip...is that at idle (sitting there in front of your computer staring into space not doing anything) or under load (6 windows open at once, Media Player playing a DVD, while surfing the net)? Are you using the factory heat sink that came with the processor? Let us know exactly what the situation is, and we will do our best to help you...
