Paypal Question??

k i won an auction on ebay, and i paid the guy using paypal, but before i paid the guy i had a balance of 40 bucks, and $950 left on the credit card, after i paid him the 30 bucks my balance was 10 bucks and my credit card balance was $920, my question is did they take 30 bucks of my credit card, or my paypal balance, if so will be charged on my credit card for 30 bucks?

If you sent the payment thru ur account, then they usually take it off ur paypal balance. :burn: Checkout the transaction history to be sure tho.

when i make a payment from my checking account through paypal, they temporarily put a hold for the same amount on your credit card in case you don't have the money from the checking account

no i realized that my balance was 40 bucks and my spending limit was $950 then after i purchased the cold cathode the spending limit went down to $920 and mt balance went down to 10 bucks, so they wont charge my card, they just deduct from my balance.

As I understand it they put a temp hold on that amount from your credit card account until they secure the funds from your checking acccount.
