I am losing my damned mind here.
Problem with my card is that during cutscenes, I get a small cut-out of the audio. Like someone just decided to press mute for one second. Then it comes back on. Happens like EVERY 5 seconds. I am ready to throw out the card and chuck it into my dumpster.
The problem fixes itself when reinstalling drivers, then shortly after that is fixed, the problem reoccurs again.
I've tried uninstalling drivers, reinstalling drivers, rolling back drivers, swapping my audio card to a different slot.
Is there some fix out there I'm not aware of? My sound card is a creative x-fi fatal1ty card. I'm seriously RAGING right now.

board: Asus rampage formula
Memory: Corsair dominator 1066mhz
Sound card: Creative labs x-fi xtreme gamer Fatal1ty
Video card: sapphire HD4870x2
OS: Windows 7 professional 64 bit
