P4 1.6a

I just got a retail P4 1.6a chip and put it in an MSI 845d ultra MB. I didn't even try the stock speed, I just booted into the bios and set it for 133mhz bus. No problems, rock stable in games, compiling etc at 2.136gigs, thats with the stock fan and heatsink...I didn't even replace the intel heatsink compound...Highly recommended!

Northwoods really do rock. I have my 1.8A running at 2.4, which only took a modest Vcore increase and stock cooling. With a Swiftech and a lownoise fan, and a little more Vcore I get this (at 2492 Mhz):
