Hey All,
I have been looking at the eye candy made by Bitspower and in particular the triple 90 degree rotary. What I have found is that some of these list these as being made from brass,https://www.jab-tech.com/Bitspower-...e-Triple-Rotary-Adapter-BP-90R3D-pr-4392.html. Other web site list as being made from copper, http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/big14shsitrr1.html.
Does anyone know if this is correct and there are actually two fittings one made from each material?
Does brass cause corrosion with a copper rad? I am still researching for my first W/C project.
Thanks for sharing all your knowledge guys.

Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc and is safe to use together with copper in your loop. You won't have any galvanic corrosion between copper and brass. Either way, they are fine to use in your loop with no worries.

I always thought they were brass but have nothing to base that off of. I'd call Sidewinder & ask if it's an error. Either way it won't corrode anything.

Thanks for the your input, I will not worry about the material type and will mention this to Sidewinder.

On with the research, almost ready to purchase and I will post some pic's once I get things going but be patient because I want this build to be right the first time.:)

you can use Brass, copper, nickel, silver, gold, chrome, and good stainless steel in your loop and not need to worry about corrosion.

basically just keep anything with aluminum out of your loop and your fine.

those are the main metals used in water cooling products.
