i just bought a asus m4a78t-e and it supports DDR3 1600(O.C)/1333/1066
i got kingston hyperx 1600 ddr3 will it still work

i have 4 gigs of the 1600 ram i want to buy 4 more should i buy them in 1333 or get 1600 again if the 1600 will work with my board

i want to oc my phenom cpu once i get all set up will that raise the ram speed to high

usually there's only 2 slots that you can use in an amd rig to go over 1333...so adding more ram would limit u

so if i just leave it with the 2 sticks of kingston at 1600 i can overclock my cpu and it wont overclock the ram i just read a post on filling all channels being bad so im goin to stick with the two 2gb sticks but i want to oc so should i return the 1600 and get 1333

i have figured it out the board supports 1600 it is set defualt at 1333 so i have to change settings to 1600 and the kingston ram i bought will work in the board now i just need to find out if it can handle 8 gb at 1600
