View Full Version : New Nvidia GTX200 series drivers wont let me set my display to correct monitor
I just updated my drivers and the whole control panel dissappered. All there is is networking options and that doesnt even work. I cant change anything what going on? I cant roll back the driver either because I installed the new one then tried the beta. How can I not be able to set a display? Is this right?

Did you try a Windows System Restore?
Failing that I'd try to uninstall the drivers, run DriverSweeper in Safe Mode, and then reboot into regular mode and try to install the latest drivers from nVidia again. If that doesn't work, then try that whole process again except use some older drivers.
And if all else fails, reformat, and start from scratch.
Yes no matter what I did Nvidia new driver took away the control panel? Whats up with that. Thats a big problem that needs to be addressed to Nvidia. The only way I was able to save the driver was my Image of my OS I have using Acronis True Image. I then tried it after the image and it still did the same thing. Definitly a driver compatibility problem.
