Have a EK-FC9800 GX2 block and it is missing 1 mounting screw. Would it be safe to mount it and run it anyway? Just pick what looks like safest spot?

I wouldn't think it would be a good idea. As far as I know, the screws are in places on that block to keep even pressure on all of the components on the card. Do you maybe have a hardware store close by that you can take it to so you can find a matching screw? Another option would be contacting EK and seeing if they will send you a replacement.

McMaster Carr for online. Bet they have a warehouse within a day's delivery. Try McFadden-Dale if there is a store in your area. And hobby stores for airplanes and such.

maybe send a email ek and see if they can either send you one or at least tell you exactly what screw you need?
