I'm going to be ordering the motherboard block and cpu block for my EVGA 4-way Classified in about 3 hours.

The best price I've found is on Performance-PCs website.

However, I noticed they have a $20 discount on each if I get the ones with the red acrylic tops.

I know the acetal tops are supposed to be better, and red or black doesn't make much difference to me.

But saving about $40 is a big incentive for me, and I'm considering it.

Given the fact I'm planning on running distilled water and PT Nuke in the loop, would this be an ok choice?

I don't think you should have any issues. Make sure you don't overtighten the barbs and don't run any alcohol based additives. I do like the red look, with Primo LRT red tubing that would look good!

the plexi is fine as long as it's not mistreated or comes in contact with any alcohol as it will crack and shatter.

the red looks better too :)
