Well I do a lot of gaming that requires voice communication.

I have an X-Fi Fatality Pro PCI card.

Unfortunately it does not have the front panel audio connectors and I don't have the 5.25inch bay.

So, I have been looking for speakers with a mic-in jack.

I did try an extension cord, but the audio gets 'noisy' due to poor shielding.

The cord of my headset is long enough, but I don't want it to be directly attached incase I get up and end up snapping the cord.

So, does anybody know of any speakers out there that do have a mic-in jack?

I don't know of any speakers with a mic-in jack on them. What about making your own extension cable with better shielding?

Well, yeah, but I rather get speakers, too, for when I play my RPGs.

So you're asking for speakers with a mic-in passthrough to then connect to your soundcard mic-in?

It seems to me the easiest thing to do would be to just get an extension cord for your headset mic. {Also, if you're using a headset why do you need or want speaker anyway?} <- nevermind, you answered that.

If you have speakers and a mic, the people you're attempting to "voice communicate" with are just going to get extremely annoyed by hearing the output of your speakers being fed back into your mic. This is a Bad Idea, unless you've got some program that can intercept the output before it goes to the speakers and do cancellation on the input. Last time I checked, X-Fi drivers didn't have that kind of feature.

I figured as much that there wouldn't be one.

Guess I'll have to jerry rig or at least get an extension just for the mic jack and get decent speakers. OR get the speakers and hunt down that front panel that comes with the platinum card but also works with my card..
