i know that AthlonMP's are made specificaly for dual motherboards, but im curious if i get two XP's to run at the same speed, if it could work.......does anyone know if its even possible?
It is possible, but not guaranteed. About 70%-80% of people who have used XP's instead of MP's have had sucess.
If you want to be sure that it works buy MP's

of the 30 - 20% of times it didnt work..did it result in permant "not cool" problems for the XP, or nothing happens to them?
thanx
I believe that the XP's suffer no damage when they fail to work, however....abviously....I can't guarantee that.

Guys, MPs are AMD certified SMP CPUs. XPs are hit or miss. But from what I have read its mostly hit.
Check out HardOCP for their review on MSI new dual board. They got 2 XPs to work on the baord.
