I have had my eye on this game for months now but have not taken the plunge.

I am curious what anyone here thinks about it good or bad :)

I am reading about Aimbots and such, but, you have those in most FPS online anyways.

I remember seeing screenshots and thinking that it would be a good passtime until Huxley finally (if ever) comes out. Just did a quick search for 'global agenda aimbot' and http://www.massively.com/2010/02/24/global-agenda-takes-aim-at-bots-aimbots-specifically/ came up, I'll wait a week or two and see how it all shakes out, then take the plunge.

i broke down and bought it this weekend. I have played to lvl 10 and so far so good. It's a good departure from the normal MMO or shooter. I don't have hours upon hours every night to game anymore, so this fits in great. I can log in for 10 minutes, run a mission, log out and be happy :)

No eyefinity support = no business from me.

I won't be labeled "cheater" for having a nice display.

Oh please.. don't start with that.. Kyle is that you?? The game is still an MMO at heart and I'd rather have more effort put into the content that it is lacking than spend valuable time and money adding a feature that less than 1% of the players can use to begin with. This game was announced long before Eyefinity was even an option. Are you going to boycott all games without Eyefinity? Seriously? The tech is 6 months old... that's like saying you won't play a game because there is no 3D support. It's a small studio, you can't expect them to be able to support everything new and shiny from the start....Give it a little time, they will eventually support it.

I will agree with you on the reasoning for not supporting it though... saying it gives a real advantage is kinda silly. They should have said it's on the way, we need to put our resources towards content and such before we but resources towards Eyefinity... The games only been out a month now, give it some time.....

How about people who surround themselves in monitors? Should they be allowed to see behind themselves? Is the same FOV you are whining about available to people with a single monitor?

Did anyone even call you a cheater??

edit: I just read the ridiculous editorial on hardocp. He doesn't even mention the FOV issue. What a poorly written piece, it just comes off as whining from someone who thought he was buying an advantage.

Dribble is being fair here... He said he wasn't playing it and why. We may not like the reason why not, but, hey, it's an opinion.

Since we brought Kyle up, I am wondering..... where is his rant on MW 2 for the PC... No dedicated servers, no console, no Eyefinity.... Infinity ward is big enough to cough up man hours for these things...

I played this game pretty damn seriously, the AvA mechanic is pretty intense but needs some MAJOR work. AvA is basically their try at the whole persistant world sort of thing. Unfortunately the game lends itself to some EXTREME burnout, requiring you be at the keyboard for 5+ hours to wait for attacks and such.

I have over 250 hours in the game and after playing AvA you won't want to random pvp/pve again. Luckily they're adding in a ton of new content within a month or so.

Sounds like AvA is good in your opinion. What would you say the biggest differences between AvA and regular PvP are? Oh and please tell me the drops get better as you go... so far gear is a disappointment... I am only lvl 10 of course, but, I needs something to keep me hooked :)

Look, I don't want to, but If I have too, I'm gonna end up babysitting this Thread. STAY ON TOPIC and put the petty differences away.
Like I got time for this?

This Thread is on the TOP 10 for being reported.
