Hello! I have an audigy sound card and it works great but I have n little problem that I thought you genius's might be able to help me with. lol......... I have bass and treble selected just the way I like it but when I switch to EAX normal for when I play games, it sets the bass and treble back at default.........Any idea why??? Thx for your time...........

Well, if this helps, I have the same problem. I'd chalk it up to crappy drivers.

My audigy does the same thing. Luckily I have the Inspire 5300 series speakers so I can adjust the bass from the subwoofer as well as the computer.

Do any of you have the prob that when you start the comp up the volume is full blast, regardless of what volume setting you have, until you adjust it manually or mute it? Or is it just my bad luck?

It's usually do to when many games start up, it reinitializes (<-SP?) the sound. Not all games will do it, but most of the games within the last 2-3 years will.

No I've never had that problem, although I do have a seperate control for my sound on the Inspire series so whether the comp goes full blast or not I wouldn't know. The only thing I would notice is if the comp muted sound.
