Wild idea, I was looking at some amps to power some DIY bookshelfs and came up on this:2*100w 4Ω TK2050 Class-D Audio Amplifier Board-improved (http://cgi.ebay.com/2-100w-4-TK2050-Class-D-Audio-Amplifier-Board-improved_W0QQitemZ370340359250QQcmdZViewItemQQptZL H_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item563a016c52)
and was thinking of adding it into my htpc case. Would it be dangerous to use the psu (Antec 430w) to power the amp? At 12v I'm thinking it would give me around 30w@4ohms, which is enough to power the speakers. Should I go for an external power supply instead (i.e laptop power supply)?
Edit**
nm, just been reading around and found out the computer psu will be too noisy
