We are quickly approaching an inflection point in movie-making where digital effects will be cheaper than using 'real' people or 'real' sets.

Nvidia dominating this market is significant, ATI really needs to improve their non-gaming offerings and get going with GPGPU, or Nvidia will have it totally monopolized.

Cuda and GPGPU ain't a joke or some niche anymore.
