best 3d shooter with good story

Hi guys
I'm currently playing mass effect 2..great game..
Picked up avp as well..
Beat cod modern warfare 2..amother great game..
Can't get into bioshock for some reason..

What is a list of the top 5 3d shooters ?
Looking for a game like the latest cod and another good sifi..

I'm also to Max out my 5970quadfire..

Are the cod games connected at all ?

I think I have to admit mass effect 1and 2 for me are maybe some of the best I've played..

if you like survival/horror you may like deadspace, I haven't played it but a lot of people like it. I assume you have played through the half-life story?

BFBC2's story line is great. CoD4:MW's single player was far superior to MW2's imo.

An oldy, but one of the best. Deus Ex 1 and 2, Invisible War. Those games had some fantastic stories, and really good gameplay. If you do wish to play them, make sure you look around for some texture packs and Direct X updates for them. I lost my bookmarks for them, but should be pretty easy to find on google.

As for games that would max out, or at least take good advantage of your system? Not many on the table that you havn't mentioned.
