Hi all,
I'm running windows 7 on 2 different machines, one is used as a file server. both are connected to a homegroup. a while ago I mapped some drives and folders from my file server to the network. all of a sudden these mapped drives and folders could no longer be read by the other computers. i tried just unmapping them , the computer says the folders/drives are no longer shared but on the other computer they still show up, but are still unavailable. I've tried restarting both computers and tried the NET USE/ PERSISTENT:NO command on both computers, they report back that the command was successful but they both still show the folders/drives even after rebooting both! how the heck do I get rid of these? is there a way to simply wipe all networked drives/folders out and redo them?
