View Full Version : Would this cause random RESETS?

When I first built my system, it worked fine, except that, when I would run a Game or an Application for a long period, my puter would suddenly reset or reboot... the HD LED PWR LED did not light up either, so what I did was, flip the wires around, now the LED's are on. My point is, since my RST SWT was backwards, would that cause my system to reboot?

note: I have fliped all the wires around and havnt had any problems. I'm just wondering if the RST SWT was in the wrong way, would that cause my system to reboot randomly. Thanks.

It shouldn't have made a diff for the reset switch since the switch only completes the circuit and it does not matter which way the electricity travels.

The reason it made a diff with the leds is because they will only light up if the voltage travels the right way through them.

One cause of random reboots is your system not enough power, either because the psu is underpowered, or you are overclocked too high...
