How do I install a 2nd hard drive?

you need to be more specific. you could jumper it as a slave and put it on the same cable as your primary hard drive. you could also use the ide-cd and connect it to that when you need it. You could also buy an ide controller and add it there i think.

i know how to physicaly install it, im talking about the first time i boot the system with the new 2nd HD in there, what do I do from there. SETUP = IDE channel1 HD and CD-ROM, 1DE channel2 HD number 2.

Usually your drive jumper should be on auto. Its very easy. Make sure the drive you have now is the master (So make sure the last connecter on the cable is installed and then the jumper is master and is verified a master on the bios startup) then plug the second HDD in and connect it and then make sure you have no problems.

It is very easy.
