I want to get a second sapphire 5850 and run crossfire on my new rig. First problem is every place i look is out. Second, not even ati's site has the sapphire variant anymore, just the 3 or 4 other ones. Is it ok to use say a xfx or some other different sub brand of 5850 is crossfire with my sapphire?

if not...is ati still having supply issues...amd where can i get another sapphire 5850?

They will work together fine... as long as they are 5850's you are fine, brand makes no difference...
