Greetings,

With the new die shrink for the P4, I have my sights set on a new overclocking adventure. Well, things have changed since 440BX chip set days, and maybe y'all can help me out.

If I overclock a P4/1.8A to 133FSB (533MHz Quad Pumped) to produce a 2.4GHz CPU, what bus frequencies will be out of spec ?
Any insight will be appreciated.

None of the frequencys will be out of step, you can run with a 1/4 divider. Plus the i845 has the option to fix pci at 33mhz no matter what the fsb speed.

Based on your reply, I guess DDR266 would work fine. Are there any specific settings in the chip set, or a mother board bios, to take advantage of higher frequency memory, such as DDR333 ?
