If I pack my waterblock with silica gel would this stop condensation? Will the heat from the waterblock at full load be great enough to regenerate the silica?

Are you going to use a pelt or stick the radiator outside. Cause if not condensation shouldn't happen. The only time you have to worry about condensation is when the water going through the block is colder then room temp.

*edit* if you are going to use a pelt go to this site and take a look www.swiftnets.com/socketsealing.htm

I am planning on using pelter but did not want to do something so permanent like coating the the motherboard and waterblock with silicon.

Just from what I've done I'd say that`s the safe bet. Due to condensation I've fried two video cards and more MoBo`s then I want to count.

Condensation will absolutely kill your setup if you allow it to happen.
