View Full Version : Initial results 1.0A
Well the Cele 1.0A is definitely a sweet overclocker. I didn't even bother booting up at stock speed just went straight for 133 FSB. Booted fine at default voltage but Windows wouldn't load. Windows loaded with 1.525V but not stable. Bumped voltage up to 1.575 and everything is rock stable so far.
So I'm just gonna burn-in for a few days at 133 and let the AS3 cure then try to go higher. But here is a bench at 133

have fun, and welcome to the wonderful world of tualatin :D and don't forget, u must go higher til you or your chip burst.
Just do the vid-pin...and your way to 140+FSB'S is open.
A proper burn-in is needed for sure.
Good luck
congrats deez...just remember to burn-it in good, and you'l be very pleased with that chip...:)
Thanks guys...I'm really pleased with the chip so far. I will post the info off the chip when i get home tonight and go for higher FSB within the next several days.
The chip is a retail Phillipines tho'
Retail Phillipines chip are good!
You should just turn the FSB down and crank the voltage up and do a faster burn in process just that underclocked so Seti may run slow for you since I know you like to crunch.

I'm gonna see how far I can get before cranking down the FSB and upping the volts this time....i used that method with my 1100E and it seemed to be sucessful. This is also my first time using Artic Silver thermal paste too
Hehe the new ranking system is like that.

Ok here is the info off my chip

Ok...so I'm a bit impatient...currently running@1400 1.675V tested by running prime95 and sandra burn in simultaneously for a few hours. Also gave it the 3dmark 2000 test
The AS3 hasn't even cured yet...what a great chip
Try 1.725vcore and 140+ FSB's. IT should work then from there if it gets in windows and is a little shaky you can adjust the vcore around or something :D

I like to test stability at each step before trying to push it further right away. I have booted at 1450 but it wasn't 100% stable so I clocked it back down to 1400. I think i'm going to try stepping up a notch in FSB daily
nice o/c....I think you have a lot more in that chip. Does yours have an "A" or a "B" in the batch number?

Yep...I think I have more too...It has an A

are you guys using water cooling? what max voltage can the 1000a celeron take? 1.7 sounds awfully high from default
1.7 sounds awfully high from default
My god, man, we're overclockers! LOL :D
no water cooling...just a nice big copper heatsink. Its a heavy one too 510g
With proper cooling a slight voltage increase is ok

The voltage and Temps are no problem with these little monsters.
Even with an old-type of HSF like mine (FOP 32)
Take a look at my rig
:burn:
UPDATE:Running at 1430 stable now getting errors at 1440. It could be the RAM timing/settings or possibly the chip needs more voltage.
Will continue testing stability for several more hours then start messing with RAM settings. I think vidpinning is in my near future
EDIT:error in prime 95 at 1430..now at 1420
deez, quit playing around...vid-pin that thing, burn it in at 1.75 @ 66 or 100, then jack it to 150! :D
I'd vid pin and burn-in @ 66fsb for a week w/ the most highest and acceptable voltage.
Then try to hit 150 or something.

LOL I've only had it running for 3 days now...I'm curious how high I can run my RAM w/o having to underclock it plus I dont have the patience to vidpin tonight. Took me an while to do my old cele

Heard that its easier now! Heard you can even take speaker wire and wrap it.

I dont want to fry my CPU...if i'm gonna wire it i'm gonna take my time and do it right
Note
Anything above 1400MHZ needs more than 1.675vcore to be 100% stable.
That's what i came up with...from my own Tually
TASOS I agree 1420 was stable but 1430 was not....wiring my chip tonight
Good luck deez. What you wiring it with?
Yodums...just wired it with a thin strand of wire from an IDE cable. And also reapplied AS3. Currently running at 1440. Tried booting at 1500 but got lockup my goal with this chip is 1520.
A low FSB burn in will probly happen this weekend
back2back post...sorry but my FSB is currently at 66 and voltage is at 1.875 burning in with prime95 torture test....temp is 40C
at 142FSB 1.675v with prime95 temp is 43C
