im also gonna put to blow holes on top, i love my nibbler, but i hate making the starter hole, listen go to radio shack and ask them where the nibbling tool is, if they say they dont have it, then walk your self to the plyers and wire stripper section and you should find it.

are you the one with the hampster cage case? what are you modding now? Is it the hampster cage?
When you goto the "Shack" remember that you know more then the average 1/2 brain dead people who work there! They do have them in every Shack I have been in unless the are out of stock.

pol tec, the hamster cage is history, i dont know why i every did that mod, just a big waste of time and money, im modding a differnet case now, i will post pics when im done.
thanks for the tip binarysuperman. i will pick up a nibbler tomorrow at the shack so I can cut a window and a hole for a squirrel cage blower (i think around here that type of blower is called a "Hoot Chute"). i could take the dremel to it, but it is quite thick and strong so the nibbler is prolly better.

Nibblers are wonderful tools that I even used to create holes in the much heavier guage metal that my door panels in my truck are made from. I picked up a really nice one at electronics speciality store for around $30.00 U.S. dollars. It cost more then the Radio shack model but is of better quality and not so hard on the hand. And they can be a little hard on ones hand. Though if one where's a glove it's not as bad on wearing the skin raw. As far as I'm concerned, even though it can take a little longer at times to create a 4 or 6 inch dia. hole then with a jig saw, the end result is usually much better and almost absolutely free of sharp edges or other crap. You'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between factory and the doit yourself hole almost everytime.

I just re-read this post....if you really read it (apart from the thread), you're saying that the 1/2 brain dead people are at every Rad Shack, unless they're out of stock (of 1/2 brain dead people)....
Struck me as humourous...;) Rad Shack stocking 1/2 brain dead people now...lol. You really can get anything there....:p
