Check 'em out here (http://www.ati.com/na/pages/na_index.html). Basically seem to be standard 8500s with 128Mb. Which isn't going to make any difference performance-wise. Wonder if they'll be the same price too?.

Oh they are the same price. Don't know about core/mem speed tho'.

Nope! :). Certainly not at the moment and not likely this year either. I guess it's ATi's way of countering the 128Mb GF3s.

I think you are right. But I'm glad ATI did this, else Nvidia pep's would start complaining about the lack of RAM's on the R8500 :rolleyes:

I have read some reveiws about a week ago on these, I will try to dig up, they tested pretty bad. The ones I seen are not made by ATI.

Managed to dig anything up?? I love the way ATi has portrayed these boards as faster than the 64Mb by using the 3286 drivers on the 64 and the latest betas on the 128 in a test I saw. Hardly fair that now is it?.
