Ok You guys all know im fighting to get my vid card overclaoced. :D here is the thread with the info. http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=63777 Well now I have one more question, this time about powerstrip. When you go to the screen that lets you overclock there are settings on the right hand side in a window called Driver Options. There are OpenGL options and D3D options. I don't have any of these checked off, what ones should I use?

goodie that r the d3d and opengl driver settings as you said. that will mostly depends on the applications you have that will use them and also on the relation performance/quality you want from your video. for a better help on each one post the names of the settings and youll get a better help and descriptions of the items.

OK here goes. :D

OPENGL OPTIONS

1 Enable vertical sync
2 use fast linear mipmap filtering
3 Force anisotropic filtering
4 Force full scene anti-aliasing

D3D OPTIONS

1 Disable vertical sync
2 Force anisotropic filtering
3 Disable fog table emulation
4 Force full scene anti-aliasing

And what does the advanced memory timing do?

Thanks,

The original link is working now too.

I was really interested in vertical sync, I know that's kind of a newbi question but I never got what it does for you.

GGGGGGRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!! Now when I try to benchmark with 3Dmark 2001 or 2000 my vid card feeezes. :( If I run it on the default settings I can bench it but in 3Dmark 2001 i only get 789 points. :( It runs well with my games, just not with the benchmark software.

Wega!

Can't you remember what you changed, and then just change it back?

Goodie,

What do you have for all your hardware? Mostly Motherboard, Memory, and CPU.

Chaintech CT-6AJA4T Motherboard.
GeForce2 Mx 400
Celeron 900mhz@1ghz with 112mhz Fsb
256 megs SDram

Here is a pic of tribes. Look at the frame rate(153.30 FPS). I dont get why the benchmark will fail lilke that.
