Now that I have an HTPC, I'd like to setup Street Fighter 4 on it and be able to play 2 person on my big screen. I have 2 wired Nyko controllers, but it would be quite nice to be able to use the PS3 controllers that are already sitting right next to the HTPC by the PS3.

What's my best option for getting 2x Dual Shock 2 controllers working in Windows 7 64bit (WIRELESSLY)? Would a single Bluetooth dongle work for both of them? And do I need any special drivers?

Has anyone done this before and was it easy or a pain?

I was hoping one of these would work (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320035&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL032610&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL032610-_-EMC-032610-Index-_-NetworkBluetooth-_-33320035-LC1A) as they are only $5.99 +$2.99 ship on Newegg for the next couple days. Also, they are nice and small so there wouldn't be another big thing sticking out the back.

i think you need to have it connected VIA usb.

there is a program out there with drivers but i have never used it myself.

here is a link for them .. in japanese i think though :/

maybe someone else has them in english.

Some of the old PS-to-USB adapters work fine with no drivers needed (drivers built into Win7). I plugged in my old adapter and Win7 loaded it up just fine. My adapter though was made waaaay before the PS3, so it isn't fully compatible with the DS2 controllers, but seeing how old it is and is still supported natively by Win7, the newer adapters that do support DS2 controllers should work fine as well.

Two different guides here. Most sites I found linked back to one of these two sites. Most linked to the top one and a few linked to the bottom one. Hopefully one works for ya.

Ahh cool. I'm glad that one of the dongles they recommend in those links is this one. I'm going to buy it (Like $8-9 shipped) and I'll report back once I try it :)

BTW, thanks guys for the info. My googling didn't seem to bring up too much, guess I'm not to to par :)

I recently attempted to do this and my findings were as follows.

You have to do quite a bit to make it work in 64bit due to unsigned drivers. then the needed setting add a watermark in windows as it's running in a developer mode. then there are programs to automagically take out the watermark.

The route i chose was the order a 360 wired controller to take care of things.

none the less if this is what you want motionjoy will do it if you're willing to jump through the hoops.

Cool, thanks for the info! I don't mind the unsigned drivers work around. As long as it still works, I have a copy of DSEO which should take care of the drivers and the watermark.
