... in Win 2K Pro?

I use the machine at home, for general surfing and burning CDs and audio recording and editing and stuff.

I'm not sure I need to spend, like 2 hours to download it??

Thanks

it helps fix a lot of bugs but if you have no complaints about your systems performance then you probably dont need it.

i'm on a 56k connection and i connect at arround 49k so i just set big downloads to go at night.

SP2 made Win2k the best and most stable OS there is right now... think its worth it... who knows, it will benefit you in the future.

SP2 is a must. It gets all the updates and patches the secruity and you should get all the extra left over downloads too.

My sysadmin at work gave me the CD of the SP2.

It's about 101 MB, I guess that sounds about right?

Me, too. Its great!

I have no idea on real streetdate yet, however, so runing SP2 and d/ling any hotfixes you need until then would be a v. good idea.
