i've got this presario celery 566....just wondering if any of you guys have overclocked a crapaq. I know branded systems dont make good OC'ers but if you've pulled it off could you let me know how you did it?.......thanks.
check the BIOS - see if it has any options to change the FSB. If it doesn't, then ocing will be harder, but not impossible.
(PS This should be in Intel CPUs, please remember to post in the correct area).

Just delete your first post and post the question again in intel cpus.
if you don't have any settings oin the BIOS or on th mobo itself for FSB, you might try SoftFSB...it's a 50/50 chance kinda thing...either you can or you can't.
Your compaq probably has a jumper for 66 and 100FSB options on the board. The cele 566 is an excellent Overclocker and should do 100FSB with decent cooling. Voltage adjustment may also be necessary. Any decent Socket 370 heatsink should work ok with a dab of thermal paste.
If voltage adjustment is necessary you may have to do the wire trick AKA vidpinning
