View Full Version : Fold Monitor not showing total WU's
In Fold Monitor, for total logged WU, it just says "(%)". Is there anything I have to do to set this up? I have F@H running as a scheduled task in win2000, and I'd like to know how many WU ive done.

I believe you have to keep it running at all times, so when a WU is completed, it is recorded by FM.

Yes, fold monitor has to be running when F@H finishes a wu or it wont pick it up.

Don't understand the second question. Just start FM and then you can send it to the tray. No need to run it as a scheduled task.
I dont run FM as a scheduled task. I dont know where you got that from. I said I run Folding@Home as a scheduled task. Its scheduled to start with my computer, and it doesnt show the icon in the system tray, it's basically just running it as a service.
Nevermind though, I figured out the answer to my original question.

Oh, sorry. I didn't realize start up and scheduled task were the same thing. And, yes, I did have FM and "the client" confused.
With all due respect, you did not say you run Folding @ Home as a scheduled task.
You asked "...if you put the client in the schedule task...".
I still don't understand the question. I'm glad you figured out the answer.
I'm sorry for the confusion. I was just trying to help. I will try to eschew such unintentionally obfuscated questions in the future.
Good luck!

3rd sentence...
And a scheduled task and the start up folder are not the same thing.
I dont mean to be wise, I just wanted to show that I did, in fact say that in my first post.

plague, my apologies.
The above post is what I was responding to when I posted, "http://users.neosmart.com/hruzaden/...g/download.html

When you responded to that post, I thought you were DManeKid. I responded as though your post was written by DManeKid. Obviously, I was confused. So, the comments I made in that post, the one from which you quote, are not applicable to anyone.
You thought, when I said, "No need to run it as a scheduled task", that I was talking to you. But I was talking to DManeKid.
So, you responded, "I dont run FM as a scheduled task. I dont know where you got that from." I thought you were DManeKid responding to my response, and hence I wrote what I wrote.
ya, i was getting confused with everyones posts in this thread... none of us really quoted anyone:D But oh well, we got it figured out now, and its all cool

I need to start getting more sleep. :)
