Error 101, help!

So I got a malware/trojan from a download and after removing them, I can't access any google website, I'm using Google Chrome but I tried with firefox and same results..

I get this error, Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): Unknown error.

How do I fix this? I've cleaned and cleared everything and removed all viruses with NOD32 and malwarebytes.

The problem with that is registry files could have been altered and it is hard to know what will fix this error. I will list a few things that I have seen fix this problem before. They are in no specific order...

1)Disable active anti-virus software and see if your browsers work.

2)Check your TCP/IP settings in your browser and ensure a proxy is not being used. Some viruses will set a local proxy IP. For Firefox, it should be located in Options-> Advanced -> Network Tab -> Settings...

3)Try using CCleaner on your registry.
