1/31/2002 F@H WHOLE TEAM MEETING FOR BUGFIXES

Just a FYI for those that are interested, we had another big, whole team meeting to assess where we are, what the critical bugs are, which ones we'll go after first, and how we plan to do it.

I think we have a good plan. In general, 2.x has smoothed out quite a bit (esp from 2.0), but there are still things we want to nail. Most significantly, firewall and modem aspects...."

So hopefully I can get my rigs back on the F@H soon!

I hope they can fix the problem in the next 2 weeks, while I'm at work. I think that I'll just leave my K6-2 rig and maybe my T-bird rig running while I'm at work. There won't be anyone here at the house with the ability to clear out the old crap to keep connection times low on each rig. Hopefully, the problems will be solved when I get back in 2 weeks.

Sounds like you work on an oil rig Muddocktor.

What exactly is the modem problem? I'm on a modem and I haven't noticed a real problem.

Some work hasn't been getting cleared from the cache after being sent in, or it's not being sent in at all. I think there are some differences in what's going on, but it seem to have been a problem for a while. I don't have dialup so I can't tell.
At least Stanford acknowledge that they were having trouble. That's a start.
