Hey there, let me start off saying that this site has a wealth of knowledge that I have slowly been picking at the last couple days.

Here is my current setup
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P bios F4G
CPU: AMD Phenom II X3 720 Black Edition 2.8ghz(unlocked 4th core and overclocked to 3.5ghz)
Video: XFX HD4890 over clocked 950/1060
Mem: (dont remember brand name, will come back to upated) 4Gbs Dual DDR3
HDD: 2X640GB Western digital Caviar Black setup raid 0
PSU: Corsair TX750W
Case: Cooler Master RC-690-kkn1-gp Black
Displays: Dell S2309W and Emachines E19T6W

Im planning on water cooling the CPU and my GPU, with that said here is what I've come up with.
1 dual 120mm radiator http://www.koolance.com/water-cooling/product_info.php?product_id=812
1 single 120mm radiator http://www.koolance.com/water-cooling/product_info.php?product_id=810

I am going to be using 1/2in barbs. I already have 120mm scythe fans that i will be using for the radiators. I choose these radiators because they are the only ones that stated any number as for how many watts they dissipate, 700 for the dual and 400 for the single and because they will fit into my case easily. I would have to mod my case to fit a triple fan radiator. If there are better ones out there, please let me know. Also, I choose the CPU block because it was the only one I saw that stated it was AM3 socket compatible. If there is a better CPU block out there that will work with my CPU, please let me know. I will be using distilled water and PT nuke.

The plan for the loop is Res - Pump - GPU - single 120mm rad - CPU - dual 120mm rad -Res.

This upgrade will be kinda slow due to the costs of water cooling but I will be starting to buy the first things pretty soon.

Hehe, I'd like to see a double radiator cool effectively 700 watts. The problem with Koolance is they Lie!

A radiator does cool the water. It cools the water as the water circulates. It can't remove ALL the heat, thats impossible in physics.

Waht it does do is keep the water so many degrees above ambient air temps. Say for example my air temp is 70 deg and my water temp is 15C above that due to the CPU or GPU heatload. That is stated in our terms as a 15C Delta T. And 15C is not very good.

Using this link you can hopefully follow along.

This is a 102x3 rad, larger than yours.
Go to page 4. Scroll to the second chart. Follow the BLACK line.

Using massive almost 3000 RPM 38 mm thick loud and crazy fan this rad for a DT or 6C which is pretty good the rad can only cool 540 watts.
Remember it's much bigger than yours.
I don't know where Koolance gets their numbers, on a older Koolance rad they said their rad could do over 1000 watts. The DT was like 25C, and they were using an indistrial massive blower for air. We kinda don't like Koolance because of these Lies.

Read the review deeply and look at other rad options. The rest of your items are pretty darn good except the res. It's very hard to fill, bleeds very slowly. There are better options.

More info, cut n paste syuff frm somewhere else, but you need it.
Skinnee tests scientifically, does it as a hobby and gets NO money from any of the manufacturers or the stores. So it's non biased, scientifically solid. His work, as Martins (alas retired) is highly respected. best you make the link to Skinnee and Martin as favorites. When I began to get interested in WC, I was pointed in a post (I read a BILLION posts) to Martins website. My eyes opened. No more hype from marketers that only get payed to write stuff to sell stuff. Bastids! It still took me THREE MONTHS of learning before I bought my first WC part. Been perfect ever since.

A link not in our sticky, but one worth reading. Lots of good links in it.

Hey, thanks for the info. I've spent quite a bit of time going over those links you just gave me. That link to the skineelabs stuff is insane. With that said, I'm still confused over the CPU block. For the most part it seems water cooling is limited to intel based CPU's. I'm hardly seeing guides or reviews with people using AMD. With the prices of this stuff, I would rather spend the cash once knowing everything will fit on my stuff.

Here is my updated list:

Water isn't limited to just Intel cpu's. The cpu block doesn't care what brand it's cooling, just that it has a good mount. As long as you have the correct mounts for your socket, you'll be fine.

Those tubing won't works! U must have 3/4 OD 1/2 ID since MCP655 is using 1/2ID as outlet!
You can just buy This and it will work fine ;)

7/16 ID will work over 1/2 ID barb outlets. It will be a tighter fit and it will be harder for it to come off. I know this for a fact because I've done other stuff that required a hose and a barb and I've always used a smaller hose then the barb. Here is one of the links I was given that states 7/16 will work also. http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/showpost.php?p=3114991&postcount=5 and here is where that link came from, under the tubing section. http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/showthread.php?t=282232.

Thanks conumdrum and donuts for taking the time to help me with this.

Yea, I got some 7/16 tubing as well. It's not too hard to put on non-mounted barbs, but it's a real pain to get off. Also, I'd be real careful installing on barbs mounted in acrylic... might want to soak the tubing ends in some hot water for a few mins before putting 'em on. As far as getting the tubing back off later on... you'll probably be using a razor blade. I'm considering going with 1/2 on my build... not sure yet.

Some say 7/16 leaks less. I haven't seen one barb/tubing leak with proper clamps on 1/2. You can take the tubing off the barb without cutting it off too I resused most of my 1/2 3/4 Primochill LRT. Only used new tubing because some had different lenthgs.

I use all 1/2" as well, always have, always will. :)

Even when you're familiar with loops you'll hook up a run then go, wait! that would work better going this way - so you take the tubing off and route it a little different ... ;)

Ok so y'all convinced me on 1/2 ID tubing lol. Hopefully it isnt to thick for my case though, everything is going to be internal. Thanks for the suggested site quietice, im always down to save some cash :).
