Can't Update BIOS on a R510 Laptop

Hi,
I need to update BIOS on my Samsung R510 Laptop, but I fail to do it.
In normal boot it says: "Loading driver failed. Restart system.".
In safe mode I can't start because it starts complaining about the battery: "There is no battery installed or the battery is lower than 30%.".

So, if anyone knows how can I resolve this, help would be gladly appreciated :)

This is quite an old topic, but I looked for the solution myself and found it.

The problem can be resolved by downloading
"SAMSUNG Update Plus"
before trying to update the BIOS. I can only guess that this installs the missing driver or a missing library.

On a virgin Vista 32bit I got the "Loading Driver Failed" message. Once I installed the updated SAMSUNG Update Plus, it worked without a problem.
You can get it from the software download page of your samsung laptop.
