Are you talking about the Tualatin Celeron (In your case the Celeron 3 which it still can be called, just that Tualatin is the more common name)?

There is only one slotket that will support the Tualatin on the Slot motherboards and its the PowerLeap adapters. Their fairly expensive (Believe it was 115.00 altogether, chip + slotket).

You have to make sure the motherboard will support the adapter or not.

OK I got confused reading another thread. What are you trying to refer as a C3? My guess thats its not an Intel and a Cyrix or something.

The C3 is Via's new processor line.

its not new, its been out for quite some time :p
and the slocket needs to support coppermine cpus for it to support a C3

if the slocket will support a coppermine P3 then it will support the Cyrix3 cpus
the pin layout is the same for the 2 processors
