Are these fans too slow?

I bought 3 Scythe Gentle Typhoon fans for my GTX360 Rad. I think I accidentally bought the 800rpm ones.

I'll have them hooked up to this fan controller.


This is my first time attempting to water cool. Did I mess up and buy fans that aren't powerful enough? If so, what should I be getting?

I haven't built the rig yet, I'm still waiting on parts. The 360 rad is only going to be used to cool my 5970. The 920 is on a different loop.

My bad, forgot to mention that I haven't even received my parts yet. I'm going to be building this weekend hopefully.

Possibly. the rad is kinda high FPI and pretty thick. You'll just have to try it. Depends on your heatload. You making 500 watts for that one rad, yes your fans won't do that well.

Dig into this for how the rad performs with different fans. You'll have to do the math a bit since it's a 480 rad.
