Nice Mod, and yes #5 does look like it should be avoided! LOL:D
How is the sound and is the lexan/plexi-glass "funnel" you made more effective than without it?
Very nice pics also. May I ask what camera you are using?
Very clean!
How did you get the 80mm adaptor to stay on the SK6?
im using a Casio qv-2900
the adapter is much better then with just the 80mm alone...if you notice, the sides of the sink have tape on them...the 60mm hole was larger then the top of the sk-6...so there were small gaps on the side...i did not want air to travel on the side of the sink..only through it..so i taped the gaps off =)
i used super glue to attach the adapter
the sound is wonderful!! well, the lack of sound is wonderful =) ...i was use to the scream of a 7000rpm delta....this thing is quiet
I like it!
Where can I get one?
how do the two compare in actual cooling power? and it looks nice. i like the case. all very pretty
I have the same fan and I was displeased with its performance so i cut the probe off and soldered the 2 wires together and it spins faster and cools better now:D
Sweet man!
Although Pink is just not my color!
Very nice indeed. And as far as pic #5 goes, DOH, gawd I hate it when I do that too... very annoying

First, Great job on that mod, I am looking to use the same parts myself... man those Deltas are killing my ears.
One quick question though, have you had any problems with the RPM temp control, does fan drop in RPM whe the comp is in idle or is it alwys running at highest RPM?
How about the noise, is it pretty silent? can it be compared to my Sunnon case fans, about 35 db if that much. Thanks in advance.

looks great
i dont get pic # 5, it's just your desk right? what is wrong
with it?
Yup, adding a 80mm fan to the SK6 works wonders on the ears. I did the same thing but used a 60-80mm fan adapter from Heatsinkfactory.com and cut some notches for the long clips to fit in then added a Panaflo fan. I might have increased the temp by 1*C but either way, running at 36 under load is fine and its alot quiter compared to that delta black lable. And that is a sweet case though btw, great work.
pic # 5.....
notice where the clip is (isnt) heheheheh
