I have a sonicwall Pro 200.

I've opened up all the necessary ports however it still tells me i have strict.

What more can I do other than buying a new firewall which is not an option.

Make sure your router has upnp enabled. If nothing else works you could give your xbox 360 a static ip address and put it in the dmz.

Router does not support upnp, which is very dangerous once enabled. The DMZ seems to be the only option at this point.

Going to work on this tonight.

I'm assuming you followed this MS guide and forwarded the ports from your SW to the IP of the 360.

If so then the DMZ is the way to go.

Dont know how it's going but if router supports this feature called Address Reservation having that along with it set in a DMZ will help wonders. The 360 will always have the same address you wanna give it place that in the DMZ and it will always be the same IP thats not filtered through the firewall.

Have it on my Netgear DGN2000 for my PS3 thou I've never had issues mostly on my PS3 I just have it set-up for "in the case of problems in the future" scenario.

I bought a new router.

Cisco RV082 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124127&Tpk=RV082), will be installing it tonight...
