Was looking at the GT220 and the GT240's, are they decent enough for a physx card?

I don't want anything that requires an extra power cable.

Thanks

A 240 will do a decent job, also for phsyX you can jack up the clockrates much higher since it doesnt lay down the textures for physX so you wont get artifacting, just watch the core and memory speeds.

Interesting. What do you do to test Physx stability when you do that? Perhaps run the Vantage Physx test w/ GPU physx enabled and look for artifacts?

yeah pretty much. the 9800gt is still a great physx card as well

lol

Isnt that a little overkill though? Did you see a performance boost?

Overkill? I'm afraid that word was stricken from my vocabulary when i started overclocking :P

Nah, very little notable gain, but Batman hasnt pushed the envelope for physX. Hopefully some games arrive that can utilize more than 30% of the GPU :P
