AHH HELP!!!! All I see is green blocky screen.

I had to put in a piece of crap video card now but my ATI Radeon 8500 is messed up. All I see is blocks. Is it fried?

Can you be more detailed about, "The Blocks?"

Where was the card stored when not use make sure you clean the leads off with some isopropyl (It always works for some reason) let it evaporate for maybe 30mins just to be sure then put it back in. That method revivie some of my old store which wasnt doing anything and didn't work when I put it in I did that and works like a charm.

Did you happen to mod it before this occurance?

I tried the pencil trick. I also tried cleaning off the leads with isopropyl and the areas where i penciled in. I really hope that ATI will RMA it. I have to take off the ram sinks I guess. Or just really complain to them until they fix it if they have a problem with it. Darnit im out a lot of cash now.

This was the same result when I did a bad pencil trick. You have a fried card dude.
