Best DDR RAM

Hello, I am putting together a new system and I need some good quality DDR RAM, at least 256Mgs. Who makes the best DDR RAM? I was warned by a friend not to just pick up a RAM stick from Frys, but what should I get. Thanks a lot.

Some people have been saying their latest batch with 75b chips is awesome.
