Was benching yesterday, and after a couple runs, the system crashed. Now on boot up I have a bios checksum error, tried with bios 1 and 2 same thing, put a bios on a usb stick rename it to RAMIIEXT.rom and boot with that. The bios recovery start and look like it take the file and I have the complete message and reboot. Same thing always bios checksum error. Any idea?

try clearing cmos then set defaults reboot and set opions

a battery pull might help when you clear the cmos

Tried clearing cmos, still same prob, just pulled the battery, will let it sit until tomorrow

then try flashing to latest bios then clear cmos be sure to set defaults

My Asus bios always seem wonky. Ever since socket 775, I can't say I am caring for Asus too much.
