hi
my few month old HD started lagging today and i downloaded program called HD sentinel which says this:

Failure Predicted - Attribute: 5 Reallocated Sectors Count, Count of sectors moved to the spare area. Indicate problem with the disk surface or the read/write heads.
There are 661 bad sectors on the disk surface. The contents of these sectors were moved to the spare area.
Based on the number of remapping operations, the bad sectors may form continuous areas.
Replace hard disk immediately.

It is recommended to backup immediately to prevent data loss.

so my question, is can this be fixed?

No, failed sectors and bad sectors of that number are a sign that you need to get everything off that drive and replace it, regardless of how old the drive is.

Don't use it until you can back it up, and then RMA it.
