Laptop help! i7 920 vs i7 975 for a laptop

my friend is planning to get a laptop and hes curious which one to get for the processor the i7 920 or the i7 975.
Name the pros and cons besides the price =] Mainly he wants a laptop to perform close to a high end desktop (gaming without lag, loading applications and etc)

The only difference is clockspeed and $700. The i7 975 is for overclocking, and extreme overclocking at that. Get the 920/930.
